Access for the Disabled (Berlin barrierefrei)
On 8 May
2007 the German-Russian Museum was awarded the seal "Berlin
barrierefrei" (Berlin Access for the Disabled) by the mayor of the
Berlin-Lichtenberg administrative district, Ms. Christina Emmrich. This
designation means that the museum can be used by anyone for its intended
purpose, including people with various types of handicaps.
