Exhibition Language is German.

The exhibition tells the stories of eight people of Armenian origin who now live in Germany.

Five female students of Eastern European Studies at the Free University of Berlin conducted interviews with these people about their lives in Armenia and their journey to Germany. The results can be viewed in the exhibition through selected interview excerpts, photographs and drawings.

The exhibition brings the history of these individuals’ migration and mobility to life in a multimedia and interactive way. In doing so, it highlights the common threads running through different stories of mobility. At the same time, the exhibition also showcases the individual nature of the challenges and motivations behind migration.
